It’s been a while since my last visit to Alabang Town Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa. I live just a few kilometers away from ATC (Alabang Town Center) but still lazy to wander. I see there’s been construction that’s on going at ATC but I never knew that the new wing had already opened. So I immediately explored the newly built wing and there I discovered John and Yoko. I’ve been curious about this restaurant since the first time I saw it a few years ago in Greenbelt 5, Makati. I never got a chance to try them out because I thought that since this restaurant is situated at Greenbelt 5,...

Mr. Kurosawa is a Euro-Japanese restaurant here in Manila. I was just at Resorts World Manila recently to meet and have dinner with blogger friends at Mr. Kurosawa. Just discovered that they already have new food entries to try and thats what we did. In trying new entries, what we usually do is, we try everything, share and experience. That’s how we experience food! A taste is enough. We’ll just order what we like on our next visit. I notice that I’ve been enjoying and exploring food around my area for the past few months. Last Monday, we decided to try Kenji Tei of BF Paranaque. We’ve been curious of that restaurant because of it small dinning area. Kenji Tei is great for a small place; with “Modern Zen” design, it’s different from other Japanese restaurants. I got Beef Gyudon for my self and my pal got Shoyu Ramen since he’s craving for ramen for days. We also got Cheese Gyoza (deep fried gyoza with cream cheese dip). Pretty excited about this because its gonna be our first time to try Gyoza...

My friends and I were looking for a different kind of place to eat, something new or extra ordinary. We ended up at Pepper Lunch at Alabang Town Center. It was my first time to experience a DIY or Do-It-Yourself dish! Just like in Tatsunoko Restaurant, or whenever I go to a Japanese restaurant for the first time, I always try the Kani Salad. Kani is the Japanese name for crab so its thinly sliced kani, cucumbers, carrots mixed with Japanese mayo. At Pepper Lunch, they serve the kani salad in a cup. Bongga! Kani Salad on Cup? Cover and shake the Kani Salad cup. Your Kani Salad is now ready to eat!...

Food in Tatsunoko Restaurant are so affordable and the servings are big as well, unlike in most of the commercialized Japanese restaurants around. Ambiance is not really that bad, besides the food and service are good. If you are planning for a party at home or a potluck, why not try Tatsunoko Restaurant.
