This September 28 2013 at the Maya Kitchen, Chef Robby Goco will be demonstrating his culinary expertise. He’s the chef behind the Cyma Greek Taverna restaurant chains. This is going to be my second time to witness him again do his recipes and share his secrets in cooking.
I’ve heard that Chef Robby had opened again his new restaurant. Green Pastures located at the 4th level east wing of Shangri-la Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City. The Green Pasture restaurant features a unique farm to table cuisine featuring dishes that are created from all organic, local, original, with no antibiotics, vine ripened, unprocessed ingredients.
On Saturday, (September 28 2013) He’ll be demonstrating Ricotta on Toast, Onion Jam and Roasted Garlic, Roasted Squash with Maple Onion and Mint, Young Goat Bolognese Pasta, Seafood Tioppino (stew), Cheesy Kale (salad), Honey Comb Dessert with Greek Yogurt and Lemon Curd.
The philosophy behind Green Pastures is to have the taste of the food as the main focus. It is to offer food the way it is supposed to be.
The food is not your usual bland, lackluster organic kitchen offerings but rather food of exceptional taste presented in the most creative ways. It is like gourmet organic with the restaurant offering duck, roast beef, chicken cooked slow for as long as six hours.
The chef uses lardon and has rillette on his menu. He pulls his own cheese and what he cannot produce on his own, he sources from reliable suppliers.
I’m once again very excited to watch him demonstrate his culinary expertise. I’ve learned a lot from him in the past and actually tried cooking his recipes. That’s why I’m very sure I’ll discover new cooking tips and tricks from him again.
