I’m very thankful to a friend who gave me her Buffalo Wings recipe ala TGIFridays! I thought following a Buffalo Wings recipe is hard, and I have been searching online for a good recipe, but I was always doubtful and afraid that the one I will follow will fail to meet my expectations.
Luckily, a friend posted her home-cooked Buffalo Wings as her dinner in her timeline on Facebook. I really craved when I saw her post, normally I really don’t ask but this time, I
wanna take a shot and give it a try. So I asked her the recipe at the comment and she privately messaged me the Buffalo Wings recipe ala TGIFridays and shared some of her techniques in doing it.
Mis en place everything what you need. Thaw, wash and cut the chicken wing on desired portions. By the way, you can buy chicken wings at the market as uncut or by part. I bought
mine as a whole because I love every part of the chicken wings, from Drumette, Wingette to wing Tip.
Note: Buffalo chicken wings taste relies on the brand of the hot sauce. She suggested me to use Mothers Best brand of Hot Sauce dahil ito na ang pinaka malapit sa lasa ng Buffalo Wings ng TGIF in terms of hotness.
As for the Blue Cheese dip or Bleu Cheese, she told me instead of making my own dip, she did suggest to buy the blue cheese dressing at Rustan’s Supermarket’s Gourmet to Go section.
Mas malapit ito sa taste ng dip ng TGIF rather than making your own dip; and it will not cost you much and less stress too! A minimum cost of a slice of blue cheese alone is
already the cost of the ready-made blue cheese dressing bought at Rustan’s Supermarket.
Now here’s the recipe…

You’ll need:
Method:
Method 2 for more crisper and juicy buffalo chicken wings
*Why apply second coating to the buffalo wings after baking? Chicken wings will look dry after baking that’s why you need to re-apply the hot sauce coating.
*Buffalo Chicken Wings is an appetizer, I made buffalo chicken wings as a main dish that’s why I usually order these at TGIF with rice.
Happy Eating!
