Hey guys! If you are planning for a budgeted trip to General Santos City in Mindanao, I just wanted you to make sure that you book your flight as early as 3 months ahead. I know most of you guys are adventurous yet budgeted as I am.
Here’s a very good tip to all of you, there are lots of things to do in General Santos City and there are lots of places to go outside the city nearby. From adventure thrill to food! From zip line to tuna to be specific. You can have all these cheap at General Santos.

However, there are lots of cheap and affordable places to stay in General Santos City especially if you are a semi-backpacker like me. I just found a place to stay the last time I went there. Its a Pension House actually but where can you find one with fully secured place, Hotel Amenities and services on a very affordable rates?

hindi nga ako makapaniwala eh. akala ko nung una HOTEL sha, because of its amenities, kaso hindi talaga. heheheh pension house pala sha talaga.

It’s the newest hotel in GenSan! It doesn’t look like a Pension House at all and other than that, it offers all the amenities found in a hotel… in fact, even better.

Congrats to Dr. Jun Salangsang for this project!

not really sure dahil medyo bago pa lang ang pension house na ito. but you can tell the driver the address if ever.

actually, walang malapit sa airport ng gensan. lahat malayo doon. you’ll be spending around 200 pesos bara makarating sa city just like iloilo, bacolod, cagayan de-oro and davao. but driggs is near naman the gimmickan area, you’ll be spending mga 50 pesos pag mag taxi ka. sa robs place nandun ang inuman strip nila, along pan phil highway, meron ding east royal.. mga gimikan din yun.
